Role Summary/Purpose

The PTL provides leadership and support for the implementation, development & direction of production teams. The position implements actions to improve product & process quality, as well as accelerating and support cultural change efforts. Supervises the daily shift activities and works with team members to cultivate a winning manufacturing attitude and creative work environment. Accountable for the training, development and performance management of team members in a functional area.
Essential Responsibilities

• Driving Team to 95% Ship Complete on Time target
• Creating and driving productivity funnel improving productivity and reducing lead time without impacting product quality and customer experience.
• Developing and creating training plans to maximize workforce capability
• Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
• Driving LEAN principles and culture throughout area and team.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Maintaining full Quality System Regulation and Current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
5. Maintaining full regulatory compliance and other legal requirements
6. Knowledge and understanding of production process Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
7. Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years production, supply chain experience or leadership, or High School diploma/GED and 7 years production or supply chain experience, or GE Leadership Program employee or graduate.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
3. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity
