Role Summary/Purpose

The Online Engineer provides first response and remote solutions to our customers experiencing technical systems difficulties, which enables GEHC to deliver the
best service at the best cost, within the Latin America Healthcare Services Organization.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Keep a strong customer focus on issue resolution, facilitating a strong interface/relationship between the OLC, Modality Engineering, Global Services Technology, Field Service, Applications and Customer Experience Leaders
·  Use of Remote Diagnostic troubleshooting tools and processes, generating adequate Game Plan to support Field Engineer (if OLE cannot fix the equipment remotely)
·  Provide remote support for region’s Field Engineers / Technicians and Experts to find quick solutions to technically troubleshoot customer’s equipment
·  Identify field quality improvements needs or hazard / safety concerns, generating PQMs and communicating Quality and Regulatory Teams to engage in systemic response to those issues
·  Define proactive tools and alerts are set up to ensure remote monitoring of the equipment
·  Manage and support improvements in business processes that maximize competitiveness, enabling continued business growth. This may include leveraging service capabilities by increasing the number of customer systems connected to the internet to improve remote troubleshooting and remote fix rates.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree and a minimum of 5 years Field Service/Modality Support
·  Positions open for the modalities: MR, CT, Interventional (Vascular and Surgery), Ultrasound, X-ray and Mammography
·  Thorough knowledge of the medical field, standards and constraints
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce; ability to communicate effectively over the phone
·  Analysis and Communication Capabilities
·  Openness, curiosity and taste for essential relational
·  Demonstrated problem solving capability in tense situations, effective verbal/phone communication skills when under pressure

·  Availability to work under a home office contract and flexible working schedule (pre-programmed and agreed among team members)
