Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Production Manager will demonstrate leadership by supervising and coaching a team . This includes leading daily operations to meet or exceed goals in production, safety, housekeeping, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Manufacturing Production Manager, you will utilize your experience or expertise to develop and execute objectives for self and others, lead your team through collaborative problem solving, and impact short-term and some long-term business goals.

In the role of Manufacturing Production Manager, you will:

PEOPLE

·  Provide Team Safety – Proactive concern submission and closure, Training Compliance

·  Provide Team Development – G&O's (Goals and Objectives), handbook compliance, development coaching, accurate vouchering, performance reviews, cross training

CUSTOMER

·  Provide Team Quality – Managing yield, submitting methods requests, participating in AMP (Assembly mistake proofing) events, calibration compliance

COMPANY

·  Manage Production Commits – On Time Delivery and Output.

·  S&OP (Sales and Operating Plan) Production Readiness – Capacity planning against supply, Over Time, utilization.

·  OGOS (Oil & Gas Operating System) – Managing daily CCC’s
Process – Support shop floor process, product and systems guidance, including tooling and equipment

Key Metrics

·  EHS (Environment Health and Safety) Concern reports / I&I (Injury and Illness) rate / Training completion

·  Customer Disruptions / TipQA Defect reduction

Direct Labor Productivity

·  Output (units against supply plan, internal velocity)

·  Over Time / Utilization / Cross training %

·  Cycle times, losses / yield improvement (Cost out)
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing including minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor / leadership role)

·  Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor / leadership role

·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited college or university

·  Strong oral and written communication skill

·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

·  Ability to influence others and lead teams

·  Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

·  Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

·  Effective problem identification and solution skills

·  Proven analytical and organizational ability

·  Minimum 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing

·  Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

·  Working knowledge of API 6A, ASME IX
