Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Manager will demonstrate leadership by supervising and coaching an electronics production workforce. This includes leading daily operations to meet or exceed goals in production, safety, housekeeping, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Manufacturing Manager, you will utilize your experience or expertise to develop and execute objectives for self and others, lead your team through collaborative problem solving, and impact short-term and some long-term business goals.

In addition, as Manufacturing Manager, you will :

PEOPLE

·  Team Safety – Proactive concern submission and closure, Training Compliance

·  Team Development – G&O's (Goal's and Objectives), handbook compliance, development coaching, accurate vouchering, performance reviews, cross training

CUSTOMER

·  Team Quality – Managing yield, submitting methods requests, participating in AMP (Assembly mistake proofing) events, calibration compliance, training compliance

COMPANY

·  Managing Production Commits – On Time Delivery and Output

·  S&OP (Sales and Operating Plan) Production Readiness – Capacity planning against supply, Over Time, utilization

·  GEAPS (GE Aviation Production System) – Managing daily CCC’s (Cell Control Center)

·  Process – Support shop floor process, product and systems guidance, including tooling and equipment

Key Metrics

·  EHS (Environment Health and Safety) Concern reports / I&I (Injury and Illness) rate / Training completion

·  Customer Disruptions / TipQA Defect reduction

·  Direct Labor Productivity

·  Output (units against supply plan, internal velocity)

·  Over Time / Utilization / Cross training %

·  Cycle times, losses / yield improvement (Cost out)
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

·  Minimum 1 year of experience in Production Supervision

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

·  This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
