Role Summary/Purpose

The Ambulatory Practice Solutions business is transforming healthcare with intelligent cloud software solutions that are connected, responsive, and predictive to improve patient healthcare. The position, under general direction, leads software and process design changes, conducts business and systems analysis and generates application documentation. This position will work with customers to gather requirements and be the liaison between software dev teams, dev partners and business customers.
Essential Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Owner within an Agile scrum team, you are responsible for execution of technical projects and deliver high quality outcomes on time within scope for internal business customers. You will partner with functional product owners to define feature backlog and requirements. You will be accountable for Platform and Interoperability framework adoption and growth through evangelism, engagement, and education. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, setting the course of execution, prioritizing the feature set and driving deployment from concept to implementation in a cross functional environment.

In this role, you will:

·  Collaborate with functional partners and technology leadership in defining features and specifying requirements.

·  Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and architecture.

·  Engage and build relationships with developers and solution architects. Provide direction to solution architects on design choices.

·  Collaborate with Product Managers in setting execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timelines and available resources. Facilitate convergence of functional & technical requirements.

·  Partner with stakeholders to highlight dependencies, resolve roadblocks and ensure interdependent tasks are completed as required.

·  Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the lifecycle of the project. Represent project stakeholders and articulate risks and issues.

·  Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations.

·  Prepare and translate user requirements for engineering.

·  Continuously groom, prioritize and own product backlog to ensure that agreed scope is ready to move into development.

·  Maintain knowledge of upcoming versions of the platform and speak of future releases to a very technical audience. Drive the requirements and development of a cloud native platform.
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in ‘STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

·  Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building cloud native applications.

·  Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills

·  Must be willing to work out of Seattle, WA

·  5+ years’ experience in software engineering, product development, or a related field.

·  Background in Engineering, Product Management, Healthcare or a related field.

·  Strong project management, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

·  Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.

·  Experience with agile product development.

·  Strong understanding of security, reliability, scalability, and platform management.

·  Able to work and thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

·  Strong written and oral communication skills.

·  Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.
