Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

·  Develop software in Java that you and your company can be proud of 
·  Collaborate with product management to build products our customers want in an Agile software development environment 
·  Drive software quality in the field of a medical device following the full software development life cycle 
·  Participate and provide input to technical discussions and design/code reviews, sharing information across the team

 

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
·  Experience with Java and developing Java Web applications 
·  Experience with database development using SQL
·  Knowledge of object oriented principles 
·  Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, urgency, and drive
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience developing rich web applications using JSF and JavaScript and web services in REST 
·  Experience developing Java application for instance with Swing incl. automated tests using JUnit 
·  Experience developing in ORACLE database environment incl. PL/SQL 
·  Fluent in German and/or English
