Role Summary/Purpose

Internship with the Operations Excellence team of GE Gas Power Asia. The intern will report directly to the Operations Leader for New Units and will support both New Units and Services team. We are looking for candidates who possess learning agility and strong critical thinking, able to work independently and deliver exceptional work products.
Essential Responsibilities

Projects
• Manage schedule of Project Reviews to ensure SOX compliance in financials booked in the quarter
• Manage source systems with up to date information to streamline Project Margin Review process
• Generating Standard Risk & Opportunity Reports and follow up on key risks with Project Management team
• Drive Billing and Op profit initiatives by partnering Regional & Global Thread teams

Services
• Manage schedule and lead Operation Reviews with regional leadership team to ensure planning and financial targets are met
• Manage Regional Operations metrics through Digital Leading Indicators platform
• Work with Customer-facing team and Service partners to plan for upcoming events
• Build weekly KPI Dashboard Report and send it out to Regional and Global stakeholders

In the role, the candidate will have exposure to
• The life cycle of building and servicing of Heavy Duty Gas Turbines in Power Plants
• Managing multiple stakeholders and operating across sub regions (time zone)
• Regional leadership team
Qualifications/Requirements

• Undergoing Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & proficiency in English
• Able to complete the minimum internship tenure for 6 months (24 weeks)
