Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking for an Intern / Working student (m/f) who will support our Drive Train Engineering team in different tasks and projects for at least 4 months, starting flexible in 2018.
Essential Responsibilities
· Statistical assessment of different turbine operation mode from field-database
· General programming skills
· Derive calculation tool for different methods (e.g. excel based)
· Work with GE tools CoE for user interface (e.g. exe file)
· Create fleet experience chart
· Conclude most practical / realistic calculation method for future analysis
Qualifications/Requirements
· Registered Bachelor- or Master student in mechanical engineering or similar with a work permit for Germany
· Programming skills, preferred in “R” or similar programming languages (e.g.: Matlab, excel, visual basic)
· Database skills / SQL
· Study curriculum that is relevant to the scope and objective of the assignment
· Strong oral and written communication skills
