Role Summary/Purpose

The Customer Support Representative will process orders and administer customer contracts, exhibiting superior customer service. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact between the Dayton Unison site and the assigned customers globally.
Essential Responsibilities

As the Elano Customer Support Rep Sr 7, you will:

·  Serve as primary interface with assigned customers to ensure effective communications / feedback on issues involving customer orders and associated activities, drive on-time delivery, facilitate communication throughout the organization and ensure customer satisfaction
·  Provide timely resolution on customer inquiries, responsiveness, availability, customer order tracking / reporting, RFQ submittals and status, short flows (expedites), AOG / Spares
·  Develop effective customer relationships to maximize the market awareness and understand customer needs 
·  Interact with manufacturing, engineering and supporting organizations to effectively resolve potential customer issues on a proactive basis 
·  Provide customers with current order status and advise Management of foreseeable problems in a timely manner 
·  Drive internal change to strengthen capabilities against customer requirements
·  Understand the Customer’s business and continually strive to meet their needs

Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED

Desired Characteristics

·  Business degree from an accredited university or college 
·  Strong customer facing support background and, experience in the day to day management of a defined customer account base  
·  Background in Purchase Order review and entry  
·  Strong PC skills; (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data manipulation and e-commerce experience a plus  
·  Effective communication skills, both verbally and written 
·  Ability to understand and work with culturally diverse customers 
·  Strong team player with experience integrating across various organizations 
·  Effective planning / organization and project management skills 
·  Strong background in Contract review, administration and flow down 
·  Strong understanding of MRP / ERP concepts 
·  Strong understanding of Forecasting and Demand Planning concepts  
·  Self-motivated individual with proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high stress situation
