Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a comprehensive program for those who have a passion for technology, technical excellence & share in GE’s values. It will accelerate the participants’ professional development through intense technical training & business-critical assignments. Graduates will have technical & business skills to actively & continually contribute to GE’s future. If you love technology & want a career in engineering, EEDP is for you.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, the EEDP candidate will :

·  Plan and perform assigned tasks within the framework of areas’ schedules, budget, quality and cost constraints while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness

·  Demonstrate ability to understand and apply engineering fundamentals in the business environment

·  Demonstrate analytical / problem solving through number orientation

·  Collaborate with manager in setting realistic and challenging operation goals

·  Contribute to their accomplishment

·  Propose new analyses, techniques and methodologies with respect to specific area of responsibility where applicable

·  Due to the rotational nature of the Program, the Edison Engineering Development Program can be 2 to 3 assignments in related areas

·  The rotation assignments are intended to provide a broad exposure to the engineering field leading to successful off Program placement

·  Program membership also requires continuous education through advanced studies and in-house courses & workshops

·  PLEASE NOTE : Work Location listed is Evendale, OH. However, this position is also being considered at our Lynn, MA location
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college

·  Minimum of a 3. GPA on a 4. scale

·  Knowledge of advanced mathematics (including but not exclusively limited to calculus and differential equations)
