Our Faurecia Clean Mobility
- NAO (North America Operations) Division is looking for a Testing Methods and Means (TMM) for its Technical Center in Colombus (United States).
The jobholder is responsible for test equipment functional requirements, equipment definition, hardware installation, efficient operational optimization, and transfer to the test teams. Jobholder will support continuous operational improvement through employee empowerment and available tools such as Lean/Hoshin Workshops. Test method availability and documentation will also be a key focus. Jobholder will also support new mechatronics topics as required (electronics, automation and structural design).
Actively supports the test center in writing new standardized automated Tests that ensure global standardization.
Works with Group Information Systems to understand and drive networking infrastructure within the Technical Center
Works with Product Line Engineering to define test procedures and reports with a focus on standardization and automatisation such that they can be globally and harmonized inside Faurecia Clean Mobility Technical Centers.
Actively supports the test operations in acquiring new capital test equipment (anticipation of customer needs, competitors benchmark) and in improving current testing means with regards of Safety, Sustainability (Energy consumption), and Ergonomics
Is in charge of the Planning/launching/commissioning of new testing means and transfer to the test operations
Is in charge of non-standards tests setup, launch and transfer to test center
Identifies and implements lessons learned and best practices inside Technical Centers
Works through regular meetings in close cooperation with Applications Front Office, Product Line Engineering, Generic teams to understand their needs and integrate into Technical Centers Strategic Plan
Ensure that test equipment is in line with site rules and that site equipment is in line with Global Testing Standards
The length of the VIE is 18 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Fluent in English
Programming skills in Morphee, VB, .net, Java, PHP/MySQL, PLC, LabView, IMC Famos
Familiar with automation systems and acquisition systems (NI, Gantner, Beckhoff, Wago, IMC, HCM, LMS, MuellerBBM)
Familiar with CAD tools (Solidworks, Catia)
Strong know-how in Testing topics, Testing means, Test Equipment
Project management skills
