Our Faurecia Clean Mobility Business Group – Operations Division is looking for a VIE Lean Investment Engineer m/f for its Industrialization department in Augsburg
- Germany.

The Junior Investment Engineer is responsible for the execution of all necessary steps in the area of capital investment planning and budget control, together with the BG Investment Manager.
The main missions of the role are :
Analyze, report and forecast investments of the Business Group
Ensure that the CAR (Capital Authorization Request) process is properly applied throughout the BG
Manage the investments IT Tools
Manage the BG Capital & Asset Management network
Investments Control
Strategic Plan (SP) and Budget:
Key actor in the preparation of the CAPEX SP in line with BG Global Manufacturing Vision
Establish & optimize a stable budget process in line with Group instructions & BG SP;
Monthly report and forecast on Commitment & Capex
Data analysis and optimisation, together with the CAPEX network
Tools for investments management (CARgo, CoCa, other IT systems)
Participate in the definition & continuous improvement of those tools within Group investment network.
Deploy those tools and ensure the accuracy of data
Act as the administrator of those tools for the BG
CAR (Capital Authorization Request)
Ensure that all CARs’ follow the Group/BG standard procedures
Validate the investments requests
Ensure the quality of the documents related to the CAR
Ensure that CAR assumptions are in line with Business Plan / budget
Check that Plant/production line/ Equipment specs are in line with group/ BG strategy
Check that capacity requirements are properly calculated to optimize capital utilization together with compliance with FES principles
Follow-up the CAR flow at BG/Group level
The length of the VIE is 12 months (renewable once up to 24 months)

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Business-Engineering degree, first experience in Manufacturing (PML, Plant ME, FES, UAP)
Good Knowledge in Finance (P&L, Business Plan, investment profitability indicators)
Good Knowledge in FES/Lean Manufacturing
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage functional network and line management; International mindset; English required
