Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Business Group – Asia Pacific Division is looking for a VIE Engineer Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) m/f for its Center in Bangalore, India.

The main missions of the role are:
Design and development of exhaust systems (Hot End & Cold End) from the CAE (FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness)) perspective.
Perform Finite Element and NVH analysis using commercial Tools covering geometry cleanup, Pre-Processing, problem setup, report preparation and share solutions with Customers.
Input verification, effort estimation and activity planning to respect due date and related communication to internal and external customers.
Carry out Pre-Processing, Simulation setup, Post-processing as per FCM/Customer requirements.
Prepare and validate the design for Structural or NVH targets.
Technical report preparation with appropriate design recommendations to internal and external customers.
Support and/or actively participate in international Professional networks in FCM (incl. documentation).
Execute preventive and corrective actions and document / share the lessons learned and best practice within the technical network.
Support standardization, harmonization and documentation of simulation methodologies, including working procedures.
The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate should be/have:
Master of Engineering (or equivalent) with competencies in mechanical and thermomechanical durability, modal behavior, corrosion and materials
Knowledge of predictive calculations and physical testing
Knowledge in the following tools: AQABUS, NASTRAN, HYPERMESH
Basic knowledge in production process : steel forming (tube and sheet metal) and welding assembly
Team work with strong competencies in communication
Capacity to integrate a matrix organization
Fluent in English and able to work in an international
