Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – Mechanism Division is looking for a VIE FES&P Engineer (Faurecia Excellence System & Productivity) for its Mechanisms Plant Site in San Luis Potosi – Mexico.

The main missions of the role are:
Provide, after being trained, FES knowledge and skills to GAP Leaders/Supervisors through training and coaching.
Contribute to the application and respect of FES Principles in the Shop floor (MIFD, cardboard workshop activities, Standardized Work ,OHP, process layout, etc..).
Be an active change agent within his site, by cultivating an FES mind-set / Lean Manufacturing Concept.
Support SW construction and adherence, as the main foundations to achieve high levels of operational performance.
Support the implementation of FES improvement tools for production reliability, change over Standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages , Line balancing, and overall MOD efficiency
Contribute to the lead time reduction though the implementation of continuous flow, layout optimization, pull-system and speed up flows by participating in FES workshops.
Propose and promote best practices within the Plant.
Participate in workshops to improve new ” lean concept” or advanced tools.
The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master's degree Engineering, first experience in Lean Manufacturing is a must
Good computer skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Minimum bi-lingual (English required), knowledge of Spanish is appreciated
Good communications and Leadership skills
International mindset
