Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – Europe Division is looking for a VIE Innovation Engineer m/f for its R&D Headquarters in Stadthagen, Germany.

The main missions of the role are:
The Innovation Design Engineer contributes to the Innovation process and projects. He/she is involved from the early innovation phases by participating to brainstorming and ignition workshops until the phases of advanced concept maturity that require validated prototypes. Depending on his experience, he/she participates to the engineering design of an innovative product/function or he/she owns the responsibility for it.
Within this perimeter, he/she brings the concept ideas into a CAD model (Catia), follows the build of prototypes and their testing and communicates with the adjacent functions like manufacturing, industrial design, marketing, simulation and project management.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master degree in engineering (mechanical or other)
- A natural interest and curiosity for different technical areas (esp. digitalization, electronics – Arduino/Raspberry is a plus)
- Fluent in English (German, French can be a plus)
- A positive and open mindset – a team player feeling at ease in an intercultural environment
