Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group is looking for a VIE Safety & Weakening Engineer, for its Site based in Hagenbach
Safety & Weakening is one of the product & process expertises within FIS (instrument panels, door panels, center consoles,…). This domain provides solutions and methodologies for our products to fulfill safety regulations and or consumer tests (EuroNCAP,…), covering innovation’, developments’ and serial life phases.
The main missions of the role are to:
Support the NER (North Europe Region) Safety & Weakening team within its missions
Asess the progress status, and provide guidance in terms of safety for Instrument Panel & Door Panel programs in development’s and acqusition’s phases
Prform the analysis of Safety trials or Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations (airbags, head impact, side impact, …)
Lead, define and coordinate trials for standards concepts validation
Peparare of guidelines’, standards’ creation or updates
Define the Safety related validation plan, attend trials and analyze results, for Innovations program related to Safety & Weakening
The ideal candidate will have/be :
Education: Master degree in engineering, including mechanics, basic knowledge in thermoplastics.
A 1st experiene within automotive safety domain would be appreciated
Skills: interpersonal skills, analysis & synthetis mindset, own own initiative
Languages: fluent in english , german with at least basic knowledge
