Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for leading a medium/small cross-functional product/Program Core Team of LP/PB project leaders through program planning and execution of the development of a new product/sustenance programs with strong systems acumen. Individual works with the PM and PLs to ensure that the necessary skills and resources are effectively applied and delivering to plan. This role leads across the Core Team to continuously integrate for predictable execution and teamwork across all functions.
Essential Responsibilities

The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Additionally, the Product Owner motivates the team and drives a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments & product quality. As part of the Leadership Team, the he/she works with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features.
Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Ensures that the product development process abides by all defined cross-functional standards, meets the intent and letter of Phased Review Discipline and all compliance and regulatory needs of the applicable markets
- Leads the cross-functional Program Core Team to establish an integrated plan for resources and materials to deliver the new product program per the Product Program team commitment
- Leading the design team in the development of verification and validation planning and execution
- Identifies early and solves complex and ambiguous cross-functional integration problems leading the team to deliver per Program team commitments including (but not limited to) completing functional goals, execution adjustments/iterations, process confusion, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Plans, tracks & report program execution through Agile development methodologies ( Sprint planning, Release train planning )
- Works with the 3rd party solution providers, system, subsystem/platform, supply chain, service, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Research project leaders to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features/functionality
- Driving effective communication across businesses and functions through all phases of program life cycle. Clearly communicate project status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to Leadership
- Driving product planning, multi-generational product/platform roadmap execution and product quality initiatives.
- Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product field delivery
- Drive product security
- Working closely with Product Definition team in order to drive product concept to delivery
- Working with customers to solicit product feedback and leading cross-functional teams to drive customer support
- Lead development of business cases for Make-Buy, Make-where & Make-what collaborating with Sourcing, Engineering, P&L, global business teams
- Estimation, Planning & tracking of program activities.
- Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget as-requested by customer
- Strong influencing skills – ability to negotiate with project teams and stakeholders when there is a conflict.
- Manage vendor relationships in area of responsibility
Quality Specific Goals:
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones
- Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
- Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications
- Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction
- Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives
Qualifications/Requirements

- BE/ B. Tech / ME/M.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer science/IT, or MCA
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in program leadership including managing cross-functional teams in global environments
- 5+ years of experience on development OR verification of enterprise products based on Java technologies.
- Expertise on HL7 protocols
- Problem solving skills to assess design alternatives and perform tradeoffs to determine designs or functionality that best meet needs.
- Experience in SDLC documentation to comply with ISO and European standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization
- Thorough understanding & exposure to projects executed in agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated project management & Requirement management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, Standards compliance, risk management and communication
- Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule and budget CTQ’s
- Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle
- Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization.
