Supply Planner

(Fulltime, Location: Budapest)

At Danone to function effectively, the inventory of products must be planned. A Danone plants and 3rd parties cannot make products if it doesn't have sufficient number for producing, just as a store cannot sell merchandize if their supply doesn't meet demand. That's where the Supply Planner comes in to anticipate and maintain inventory levels in order to keep a business functioning.

In the team of László Török, Supply Planning Manager you will work within an international team that is operating for the CEN Cluster (Central Europe and Nordics).

YOUR responsibilities as a Supply Planner :

·  Weekly development of production plans and schedules using Excel for planning
·  Ensures right inventory level from each SKU that satisfy the customer service target keeping in mind warehouse free space constrains and freshness requirements
·  Coordinate shortages and blocking goods for customers
·  Prepares daily stock report and communicate it to other departments
·  In charge of ensuring the best service to export clients by optimal delivering of the portfolio produced in 3rd parties or in Danone plants

Beside daily planning activities you will be in charge of preparing different reports on weekly, monthly and yearly base to measure the performance of key business objectives. During this activity you will work closely with other functions and collaborate with colleagues from demand planning, marketing, sales etc.

To be successful in the Supply Planner position YOU should be:

·  Having a background in operations, supply chain in planning positions (around 1-3 years' experience)
·  Graduated in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics or Engineering field
·  Ideally experienced in production businesses or FMCG business
·  Fluent English & Hungarian knowledge spoken and written
·  Advanced in using Excel
·  Having good communication with multiple stakeholders
·  Having great analytical skills
·  Ready to lead changes and searching for improvements
