Standup Forklift Driver - Night Shift

Danone North America is looking for a Standup Forklift Driver - Night Shift in Dallas, TX.

SUMMARY:

This position will have primary responsibility for day to day movement of materials around packaging departments and from trailers, ensuring optimum quality products through planning & control of the flow of goods and materials of different product families following regulatory standards. He/she will also support packaging by keeping dome Hoppers full as well as stage materials for every production area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Assist with day to day operations including but not limited to order pulling, table watching, putting stock away, pallet wrapping, Lot rotation, supplying packaging areas with materials, etc.
·  Provide break and lunch relief as needed.
·  Must be able to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
·  Conduct routine lubing, cleaning, & inspection of equipment such as forklifts.
·  Maintain FIFO inventory system of raw materials and finished product.
·  Operate warehouse management systems to print and apply pallet tickets, ability to perform changes in SAP for various palletizer configuration.
·  Maintain written records as required by federal and state regulations.
·  Communicate during shift change with incoming associates to maintain product supply for order selection.
·  Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe working environment, 5S.
·  Retrieve and load any materials to and from transfer trailers as needed.
·  Verify correct materials are staged and dumped for each of the packaging lines.
·  Ensure all materials placed back into transfer trailers have the proper documentation for traceability purposes.
·  Ensure Danone standards are met for the storage & transport of all materials and food products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·  Flexibility to work a 2-2-3 rotating shift schedule and additional overtime as needed.
·  Familiar with SAP transactions to pull and input data.
·  Preferred knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process (GMP's).
·  Effective communication with operators, supervisors, and customers.
·  Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
·  Ability to work in multiple positions, including but not limited to kneeling, bending, crouching, elevated in lifts, for extended durations.
·  Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods of time.
·  (Preferred) Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment and possessing a valid forklift license.
·  Must be highly reliable and able to work independently.
