Background & Purpose of the Job

The role is a member of the Personal Care Engineering Team responsible for execution of the Capital Expenditure program.

The role will be responsible for all aspects of delivering a variety of projectsfrom collaborating on the brief, working to complete Concept, Feed and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

Delivery Engineers will be responsible to ensure that projects are delivered on time with a strong focus on construction safety, quality, budget & schedule adherence.

· Work independently to deliver an agreed portfolio of projects under the leadership of the relevant Project Delivery Manager (PDM).
· Ensure professional project execution at Factories and Sites with strong stakeholder engagement
· Support PDM to check feasibility of capex projects working with Design Engineers and SU personnel to clarify the brief, understand work scope, rough costs and viable timelines.
· Work with the Design and Capability Engineers to develop Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs to meet the business need inputting local requirements and constraints.
· Develop Project Execution Plan and schedule as input to the FEED report.
· Execute the project ensuring adherence to schedule, budget. Manage site construction and contractors ensuring Unilever Construction Standards are applied.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Required :

 3 years' experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry (inclusive of co-ops & internship experience)

 Project Management experience

 Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver projects to a high engineering standard.

Preferred:

 Plant Design and Project Engineering experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or relevant Engineering consultancy firms

 Working knowledge on International Engineering Standards

 Solid background in Controls & Automation, Power, and Process Systems.

 Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Power Point and Word

 Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, 3D's Primavera & Agile
