Danone North America is looking for a Basic Technician/Material Handler in Dallas, TX.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for enduring optimum quality products through the packaging of various product families following regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITES:

·  Ensure the constant flow of raw packaging and ingredients through the production Line.
·  Effective communication and team building skills regarding associates and customers.
·  Follow instructions and show focused decision-making.
·  Must be willing to learn and grow technical skills into higher technical roles within the business unit and/or organization.
·  Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
·  Ability to work in multiple positions, including but not limited to kneeling, bending, crouching, elevated in lifts, for extended durations
·  Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods of time.
·  Know and understand all specifications within the work area(s) including escalation protocols for safety, quality, & productivity.
·  Thorough knowledge of all regulatory procedures and documentation that is required in the work area.
·  Immediately report equipment, ingredient, or employee relation issues to management.
·  Communicate during shift change with incoming associates to maintain product supply for order selection.
·  Conduct CIL (Clean, Inspect, & Lube), DH (Defect Handling), CL (Center Line), LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), and 5S activities
·  Perform quality tasks and maintain records as required by federal and state regulations.
·  Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing need.
·  Ensure proper storing of materials in warehouse are being met by following quality guidelines and allergen procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·  Flexibility to work a 2-2-3 rotating shift schedule and additional overtime as needed.
·  Preferred basic computer skills.
·  Preferred knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process (GMP's).
·  Effective communication and team building skills regarding associates and customers.
·  Must be willing to learn and grow technical skills into higher technical roles within the business unit and/or organization.
·  Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
