About the Internship

You will be part of the Global Purchasing Team that works within the Professional Services categorz: Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT). As our new Purchasing ISIT Intern, you will support the DanIS Team (responsible for the Information Systems of all the employees of Danone) with global, local and C&P IT tools. Furthermore, you will be primarily be working on Requests for Quotation (RFQ), more specifically within the coordination in the field of telecommunication.

Your key responsibilities and projects will be the following:

·  Source and benchmark suppliers through RFP and negotiations;
·  Ensure contracting & application of negotiated conditions;
·  Monitor quality service and performance of suppliers and serve as a resource to resolve commercial issues.

Next to the above-mentioned responsibilities, you will support in different projects in different phases of the procurement process to get to know a full view of all the activities within the ISIT procurement scope of DANONE

About You

You are a Bachelor/Master student in Supply Chain, Procurement or any other related studies, with a strong analyical mindest, an eye for detail and have an interest for technology and/or telecommuniaction. You are a data driven person who is eager to lean more about the field of ISIT. You should be ready to put your study in practice and resilience and self-starting mentality distinguishes you. As you will be working with stakeholders from all over the country, we are looking for a talent, who is able to connect and enagage with many people in a short period of time.

There are also some hard requirements that you should consider:

·  You need to be enrolled as a student during the whole duration of the internship (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
·  You are fluent in English – oral and written;
·  You can start as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days a week ;
·  You are able to work in Hoofddorp, Netherlands

We Offer

We offer a monthly internship allowance plus reimbursement of home-work commuting cost in the Netherlands. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad. Our work environment is very international, which will allow you to greatly improve your language, intercultural and interpersonal skills.
