Internship - Procurement (Printed Packaging Upstream)

About the Job

You will be part of the global Packaging procurement team, contributing to global projects and the strategy for printing and decoration of our packaging. Within Upstream category team you will help us to further improve the quality and efficiency of our printed packaging and support innovation projects. Within a highly dynamic and complex working environment you have the opportunity to work with many exciting global brands (e.g. Activia, Oikos, Evian, Aptamil, Nutricia, Alpro and Silk).

As part of the Printed Packaging Upstream team, your assignment will be to:

·  collect and analyze complex data from various sources (i.e. colours of our artworks across brands and printers);
·  explore and recommend efficiency opportunities (e.g. optimized Total Cost of Ownership) and support the business with implementations;
·  present the conclusions and recommendations in a structured and effective way to stakeholders;
·  building market knowledge and intelligence related to printing, with that identifying new sourcing opportunities;
·  collect and structure innovations in packaging decoration;
·  keep up to date project planning overview for dynamic cross country / platform projects.

About You

You are a student in the process of obtaining your Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or similar. You are excited to work in a dynamic and changing environment and you have strong networking and communication skills to interact with internal & external stakeholders at an international level. With your natural curiosity and your hands-on mentality , you are comfortable of operating pro-actively and independently within agreed guidelines. You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable in using PowerPoint and Excel (i.e. complex datasheets, pivots) and can work accurately. You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally.

The ideal start date will be September 1st 2019 . Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships. If you are a non EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university.
