ORGANIZATION DESCRPTION: This VIE position is requested based on a need within the Worldwide Procurement department (WWP). Coty spends in average 2,8B$ on a yearly basis through more than 18,000 suppliers managed in our local ERPS, representing globally more than 120,000 purchase orders transacted. Coty will implement World Wide an e-Procurement Tool to support and accelerate the maturity of the Worldwide Procurement and accelerate the integration of new brands.
The primary role is in supporting the WWP global optimization by an eProcurement Tool to support the ordering to the reception for all Indirect spends within the WWP global optimization e-procurement strategic program. The work requires strong project management skills, an ability to multitask, robust analytical skills and a good understanding and interest in procurement business processes, technology and day to day procurement activities.
The tool will be a support to accelerate the evolution of the procurement function from the Spend Better to the Buy Better and will be a centrale point for the implementation of a Global Procurement Organization to support the World Wide Procurement achievement and Target.
The job holder will more specifically be requested:
1)Support the P2P effort in the deployment of eProcurement tool in Coty Regions.
2)Provide training on request to suppliers and internal stakeholders on the eProcurement tool
3)Make deep analysis to provide qualitative and master data consistency. Support the creation and adoption of Catalogs approach
4)Collaborate with IT and solution provider as required for solution testing
5)Act as the coordinator to consolidate and support issue resolutions to meet buyer expectations but also internal clients.
6)Identify best practices helping to drive excellence in execution
7)Support Hyparcare activities and future improvement needed on the eProcurement Tool
8)Central point of contact for Project management regarding country or region deployment
The job holder should be able to make an impact by influencing others and be fact-driven in a complex global environment to support end-to-end procurement standardization and automation.
The VIE will start in our Paris headquarter for a month to get to know the procurement team before moving to our New York office.
Profile:
Education: Master Degree in Purchasing Management, Business Management, Information System management or Supply Chain management. Fluent German
Experience:
Previous experience in procurement, e-procurement (Ariba, Coupa, etc) or operations is a plus
Skills (technical, managerial, personnel):
Person willing to evolve within a procurement or information management function
