The International Mobility (IM) Department is responsible for the coordination of worldwide assignments within Continental, from their initiation until the repatriation of the Expat. The IM Consultants calculate benefit package, design the assignment contracts, deal with visa issues, cooperate with external providers, etc…. They represent the key contact during the whole process for the Assignee and his accompanying family members, the HR department at the Home and Host locations and external providers. The IM department has implemented in 2016 a new HR IT Tool, called AssignmentPro, in order to support them with global assignment management.
As an Improvement manager for our International Assignments Tool APro, you will focus on IT projects within the IM Department. You will implement new functionalities of our HR IT Tool (e.g create a Portal for the providers, establish an interface with HR at the Home and Host locations, design a Employee Portal, etc…). You will also work on HR Knowledge Management and on training and presentations for the IM Department. You will gain a broad overview of the international assignments processes within Continental and make recommendations for improvements. You will also have the opportunity to evolve and work in a very international environment.
Your core responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Develop new functionalities/applications of our HR IT Tool (APro) according to the needs of IM Consultants and Continental processes
- Evaluate existing applications to update and add new features to improve the IT System
- Collaborate with an international team based in America, Singapore and Europe and with external providers
- Design documents for various stakeholders (e.g project communication materials, new processes instructions, reporting templates, presentations for the IM Department).
- Work on knowledge Management and training for IM Consultants regarding the IT Tool
Required qualifications:
- Master Degree in the areas of Business Administration, Human resources, IT or similar
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Pack Office and programming skills
- First experience in HR IT recommended
- High Interest in IT-related topics
- High degree of flexibility, creativity, initiative and self-responsibility
- Excellent team player with very good communication and organizational skills
- International mindset
- English is a must, German a bonus!
