Poste et missions:
This position is responsible for the engineering of new products, materials, processes, and technologies for Saint-Gobain Proppants and fulfills the following requirements listed in Principle accountabilities.
Principal Accountabilities
- Follow Saint-Gobain HSE policies, encouraging, empowering, and involving every team member to create a safety-centric culture for all activities;
- Responsible for development of laboratory application/qualification testing protocols that demonstrate to the customers the value-added proposition of Saint-Gobain products among multiple application fields. Conduct, document, and report those tests and findings;
- Develop and improve product evaluation capabilities in the laboratory for multi-applications, and document/update standard operation procedures. Document new tests and work with technicians to implement. Conduct cross-site instrument certification, and provide basic maintenance and troubleshooting for laboratory equipment;
- Partner with manufacturing, sales and marketing team and assist in development of strong global relationships and collaborations with business, customers, and universities.
Profil:
Master degree or above in Ceramic, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or other relevant scientific or engineering field. Having working experience is preferred.
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and math/statistical procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate observations, experimental data, and test details in English.
Perform characterization and technical analysis of current and new products with rigorous attention to details.
Demonstrate a creative, problem-solving methodology with a hands on approach to product development.
