YOUR TASKS
We are looking for a Process Development Engineer (m/w) for our Volunteer for International Experience program.
Attached to the Technical Manager, your main role will be to insure the connection between the processing plant and the R&D center on a Project.
Responsibilities include :
Improve the process of toughened glasses
Develop new solutions and systems for the highest glass quality in the market
Take part in experimental design, realization of tests and follow-up planning
Integrate the technical team of the factory and take responsibilities of methods engineer for toughened and laminated glass processes
Your main contacts will be : Production, Methods and R&D Center.
YOUR PROFILE
Background : Master’s Degree in Mechanical engineering, Material sciences or Physics
Fluent in English, Good notions in German and willingness to learn & practice
Hard skills : you enjoy experimental work and have an analytical way of thinking; you work self-driven and well-structured, team work and communication are your strengths.
Soft skills : Experience with glass would be an advantage
