The Herzogenrath R&D Centre (HRDC) in Aix la Chappelle (Aachen) has its core competences in the fields of flat glass, thin-film technology, functional and active glazing. It is one of seven leading research and development centres of the Saint-Gobain Group.
Poste et missions:
Your Challenges
›Scientific and technical consultant for magnetron processes
›Support for the department's strategic alignment
› Analysis of production lines in cooperation with the interface areas R&D, IT and production in Germany and abroad
›Involvement in realization of Industry 4.0 to optimize Business Intelligence of Saint-Gobain with focus on the business unit Sekurit
›Definition of data structures and analysis of databases for preparation and performing of big data studies
›Development of optimization algorithm to implement closed production loops and predictive maintenance in our plants
Profil:
Master’s Degree in the field of informatics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
›Experience (e.g. internships) in process optimization, big data and industry 4.0 would be an advantage
›Structured, analytic and independent working methods
›Very good English skills are required. Good German skills would be a plus.
›You work self-driven and well-structured, team work and communication are your strengths
