The Herzogenrath R&D Centre (HRDC) has its core competences in the fields of flat glass, thin-film technology, functional and active glazing. It is one of seven leading research and development centres of the Saint-Gobain Group.
Poste et missions:
Your Challenges for this VIE will comprise :
› Scientific and technical consultant for magnetron processes
› Support for the department's strategic alignment
› Analysis of production lines in cooperation with the interface areas R&D, IT and production in Germany and abroad
› Involvement in realization of Industry 4.0 to optimize Business Intelligence of Saint-Gobain with focus on the business unit Sekurit
› Definition of data structures and analysis of databases for preparation and performing of big data studies
› Development of optimization algorithm to implement closed production loops and predictive maintenance in our plants
Profil:
Master’s Degree in the field of informatics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
› Experience (e.g. internships) in process optimization, big data and industry 4.0 would be an advantage
› Structured, analytic and independent working methods
› Very good English skills and intermediate to good German skills are required
› You work self-driven and well-structured, team work and communication are your strengths
