Position Description

We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Network Technical Architect preferably with Next-Gen technology experience - Hybrid/Cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Vrealise, etc.) to join a team responsible for design work.
Due to the secure nature of the work, all candidates must hold UK SC clearance status or be eligible to be SC cleared. A degree of mobility across several sites is also required. This role can be based in either Bridgend, Birmingham, Reading or Bristol.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Network Technical Architect you will be an SME in telecommunications, able to define, validate and provide cost solutions for projects and bids for customer requirements. Daily responsibilities could include providing input to low-level designs (LLD), best practice, pre-sales support and cost estimates on the network element of designs, transitions and implementations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You must offer demonstrable and in-depth expertise in network design, particularly across IT infrastructure environments. Previous design experience of LAN, WAN and broad experience on a range of Firewalls (including Juniper, Cisco, CheckPoint) are critical.
As well as expertise in multiple network disciplines, demonstrable experience writing low-level designs, mitigating risk, working to documentation standards, disaster recovery and network solution governance should form the basis of a suitable profile.
