Position Description

Due to the secure nature of the work, all candidates must hold UK SC clearance or minimally be SC clearable. This role is to be based out of our Birmingham office, with a degree of mobility across several sites required, predominantly in and around the South East.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Central Government team is looking for a dynamic Agile / QA Automation Test Analyst to work on a number of key customer projects, routinely involved in scripting and executing automated tests, raising and retesting defects as well as providing input into acceptance criteria. CGI have a close-knit team environment for which attendance at daily stand ups and at sprint planning meetings is a regular feature, effectively working as part of an Agile team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
We’re looking for demonstrable commercial experience in Test Automation (including continuous integration) along with technical proficiency with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin and good understanding of Test-driven development (TDD), Behavioural-driven developing (BDD) and Acceptance testing-driven development (ATDD).
Further experience of working in an Agile development environment, working in a distributed team, test preparation, test execution, defect management, Scrum, JIRA or HP Quality Centre highly desirable.
