Accounts Payable Manager

Position Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION

Accounts payable manager experienced in customer vendor relations, group disbursement and familiar with accounting and accounts payable systems.

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities):

• Manage a team accounts payable specialists

• Handle and supervise Check disbursements

• Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and project accounting

• Develop, implement and maintain system, procedures and policies

• Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements

• Select and hire employees

• Oracle financial experience preferred.

• Basware experience and ability to process invoice and payments quickly with high accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Basic understanding of principles of finance, bookkeeping and accounting

• Strong personal computer and business solutions software

• 7+ years of accounting experience

• 3+ years of leadership experience

• Strong communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
