Poste et missions:
We are currently recruiting a plant engineer on Cross Yara Partnership (CYP), Joint Venture between Bouygues Construction Australia, John Holland Group and Lendlease Engineering.
The Joint Venture collaborates to draw on its substantial global and domestic experience in tunnelling the metro to deliver this exciting project in the heart of Melbourne.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Monitor the operations of a manufacturing site, facility and/or company to identify deficiencies in human resources, equipment and processes, making recommendations to improve productivity and lower costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate to establish, through consultation with the department’s heads and the various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), the Mean Time between Failures (MTBF) of various components and sub components of the organizational fleet of equipment.
- Based on the established MTBF, obtain the manufacturers part numbers, place purchase orders and arrange for the delivery of the said components to the plant yard.
- Through interface with all relevant stake holders, help in ensuring that the components are installed on the equipment at the most opportune time while complying with the MTBF recommendations of the OEM’s.
- Take part in maintaining good records and create a database for the fleet of equipment, ensuring completion within the OEM standards.
- Participate to equipment inspections in order to ensure and verify completion of all scheduled activities.
Profil:
- Engineering degree
- 12 Months’ experience
- Strong Analytical skills
- Great Technical knowledge
- Methodical, have authority, attentive, be objective, and have a sense of responsibility
