Your contribution to something big

·  Support our Corporate Lead Buyers in the development of our global purchasing and supplier strategies
·  Work with us on international tenders for transportation and warehousing
·  Help us solving requests for strategic projects from our Purchasing Board
·  Take over regular reporting tasks on turnovers, purchasing results and KPI
·  Analyze transport costs, do benchmarks and supplier reports
·  Be the first level support for Logistics Transport Managers worldwide concerning our global framework contracts
·  Prepare Management Reviews, Supplier Meetings, etc.

What distinguishes you

·  You are student of a business or business-related course (e.g. MBA, International Business, Economy, Mathematics, Business IT, Business Engineering) or Supply Chain Management (e.g. Purchasing, Logistics)
·  You know well how to use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)
·  You have an independent and self-responsible working style
·  You like to work in an international team, and you are flexible for changing and new challenges
·  Good communication skills in English are required, basic German would be helpful

Length of this internship: 4 - 6 months

Requirement for this internship being enrolled in university. Please attach your examination regulations and when indicated work permit and legal alien resident.

Our department is responsible for the purchasing of external logistics services like transports (airfreight, seafreight, overland transports) and warehouses for the Bosch Group worldwide. Our Headquarter is located in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, steering the global organization and defining the purchasing strategies.
Starting autumn/winter 2017, we are searching for highly motivated students who want to experience the insight of a global organization and strategic purchasing by an internship.
