The rolewill be a key part of our delivery team and will be involved in the design, planning and implementation of infrastructure focusing on enterprise networking solutions and how the systems interconnect with data centre, Cloud Computing and system flows between virtualized environments and non-virtualized environments.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering new projects, implementing technical solutions and expertise as well as maintaining integrity for all Network solutions for Atos customers.

This position will have a broad range of responsibilities that require deep technical knowledge of enterprisenetworking specialising in enterprise LAN and WANstandards with a solid knowledge of other enterprise infrastructure such as physical and virtual servers, SAN, NAS, Linux/Windows Operating Systems and cloud technologies

As the Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the solution design in accordance with the business requirements of the customers in the most cost-effective and innovative manner. Experience working for a large Managed Services provider, or Systems integrator will hold you in good stead.

Shortlisted candidates will meet the criteria below and must be based in Perth.

Key Responsibilities

· Alignment with customer expectations and global policies
· Solution Technical design preparation
· Assist with the development of a solutions to meet customer’s requirements
· Alignment of design with delivery team standards
· Maintain relationships with relevant external suppliers and customers
· Implementation and improvement of solution standards

Requirements

· Minimum 5 years' experience in the IT industry
· Minimum 2+ years' experience as an Network Engineer
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent qualification
· Strong experience with enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure
· Experience with Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
· Preferably certified in Cisco and Juniper technologies
· Sound experience and knowledge across multiple network technology domains
· Capability to work well within a high performing technical team
· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
· Creation and maintenance of technical documentation to a high professional standard
· Previous experience working for a Managed Services provider is preferential
· Experience working for customers in the Public Sector advantageous
· Ability to co-ordinate remote and local delivery
· Be a team player capable of working with both technical and non-technical resources.
