DESCRIPTION

AWS users want to know what’s going on in their account. CloudTrail provides a VCR/DVR for activity within users’ AWS accounts. CloudTrail allows AWS users to answer the question of who/what/when/where within their account. CloudTrail quickly became a critical component of customers’ use of AWS, particularly enterprise use. We integrate with virtually all AWS services. CloudTrail is the place for people up to the challenge of processing huge amounts of super important data.

CloudTrail has grown significantly since its launch in 2013, but we're still just scraping the tip of the iceberg of what's possible. We are looking for strong software development engineers to help us deliver next-level value to customers. There are many new opportunities for growth in CloudTrail, and we need experienced software engineers to help define the direction and drive toward it. Responsibilities will include designing and building the software, managing its operations, and delivering on customer performance expectations. A successful candidate must be able to push through ambiguity by coordinating and communicating well with others, both on the same team and across organizational boundaries. As a developer on CloudTrail, you'll own design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation of significant new features within CloudTrail using cutting edge technology, with unrelenting dedication to high quality code and engineering practices. You'll help build the team culture and engineering excellence. Etc.

This position is related to a specific high visibility highly strategic initiative.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
· Experience with distributed computing.
· Experience/expertise in machine learning
· AWS experience
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
· 3+ years of commercial grade software development experience
· Experience with OOD and object oriented languages
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
· The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
