Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing AWS accounts? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As Strategic Account Manager New Business you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the future of an emerging technology within the classic Mittelstand ($100M-$500M Turnover). Your responsibilities will include consulting and onboarding a set of new customers. You will work with these customers as dedicated Account Manager throughout their cloud journey and thus drive growth and market penetration. The ideal candidate (m/f) will posses technical background that enables him/her to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Help to drive growth in a defined set of customers
· Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
· Onboard customers and accelerate customer adoption
· Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
· Develop long-term relationships with customer accounts
· Ensure customer satisfaction
· Closely work with the Territory Business Manager to ensure success of the territory geo
· Expect limited travel

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years sales experience in the B2B space
· Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and German are a must
· Experience in the IT sales or consulting business
· Ability to deliver at CxO level
· Strong work ethic and organizational skills
