Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of enterprise, government and start-up business and organizations in over 190 countries around the world. Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services officially began offering developer customers access to web services – now widely known as cloud computing – based on Amazon's own back-end technology platform.

As a Startup & Developer Marketing Intern, you will report to the Startup & Developer Marketing Manager DACH and will become a part of an exciting Startup Team and get in touch with the inspiring and ever changing startup community. In this role you will help support the startup marketing manager with the execution of planned events, strategic campaign, and webinars hosted by AWS or sponsored by AWS in the DACH region. You will organize the promotion (email set up, database gathering), be responsible for the logistics (venue, catering) and make sure the follow up actions after the events or webinars are taken care of, the leads uploaded in our CRM system and assigned to the right sales representatives. The position will entail some travelling to exciting startup hubs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities:
· Secure venues for physical events and book time for online webinars.
· Work with Marketing and Sales teams to identify database to target for each action.
· Set up email programmes for events/webinars promotions.
· Report on results and feedback from attendees to the teams.
· Facilitate follow up actions from Sales teams and monitor ROI for Marketing.
· Support vertical communication campaigns such as newsletters, webinars.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel skills is a bonus
· HTML knowledge
· Strong organisation skills
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing stakeholder requests
· The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
· Fluent German and English language skills
