Amazon Physical Retail is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to help build our supply chain processes and tools from the ground up. In this role you'll use your strategic ability to develop and execute a vision for the future. This role includes writing requirements, inventing processes, prioritizing necessary tech work, quantifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities, and driving performance to meet supply chain goals. As a Sr SCM you will work closely with software development, business managers, product managers, operations, supply chain, finance, and transportation. To be successful you will create, develop, prioritize and drive solutions that result in end-to-end supply chain processes for this start-up business.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute supply chain and transportation strategies for physical retail.

· Clearly communicate and explain end-to-end supply chains, including inputs, outputs, rationale, and gaps.
·
· Execute strategic business objectives while working with key internal partners and partner teams to improve the supply chain with the latest internal and external information.
·
· Develop scalable solutions and key performance indicators to monitor supply chain performance.
·
· Perform complex data analysis to find opportunities and inform priorities.
·
· Work with dev teams to develop business requirements for supply chain and transportation tools and processes.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree required.
·
· 5+ years' experience running Supply Chain operations in a logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
·
· Proven ability to manipulate and analyze complex data sets.
·
· Strong data analysis, problem-solving and project management skills.
·
· Demonstrated experience successfully leading projects.
·
· 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or SQL.
·
· Experience releasing products and programs to market with a demonstrated customer focus.
