Come join our dynamic start-up team in Amazon Fashion Innovation to launch a new business and reinvent how customers shop for fashion. Amazon Fashion is one of the fastest growing and strategic areas in Amazon’s retail business, and our team is building a new shopping experience from the ground up that helps customers find inspiration and products they will love.

We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented and inventive Program Manager to run an experimentation program, develop business metrics and perform in-depth analyses to inform business decisions and solve complex business problems. You will work closely with data engineers, software development engineers, product managers and business leaders to manage experimentation, produce reports and analyses that will help the team build new systems from the ground up and implement cutting edge ML frameworks to support a playful and engaging user experience.

This role requires a strong ability to Dive Deep: you will leverage your technical skills to define, measure and track performance to ensure that we are doing the right thing. You love building insightful reports and want to automate everything you have built. A successful candidate will have strong SQL expertise, data warehousing experience, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence peers and management.

Key Responsibilities:
· Write Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) jobs to calculate business metrics;
· Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions;
· Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines;
· Review and audit existing ETL jobs and SQL queries;
· Identify and recommend opportunities to automate systems and tools;
· Analyze data from many sources and present key findings to improve products, customer experience, and other business metrics.
· Create, manage and deliver on complex program management plans
· Work across cross-functional teams to design, iterate and deliver experimentation plans

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent work experience;
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or related field, and program management experience.
· Experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment;
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
· Working knowledge of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing;
· Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting tools and environments.
· Experience building a program from scratch that will scale with the business.
