DESCRIPTION

The AWS OpsWorks team is looking for you, a curious and motivated engineer creating a great frontend for our customers around the world.

Our team owns a large-scale distributed Amazon Web Service that helps our customers manage and operate their own applications and infrastructure. http://aws.amazon.com/opsworks/ We are constantly improving our product and UX.
We would like to build a rock-solid low-latency frontend with you, that makes our service an even more powerful tool for our users.

You are a hands-on developer with strong technical abilities. You communicate effectively and are motivated to achieve results as a member of a diverse and fun team.

Most of all, you should love creating things and take pride in building great applications for customers.
While mostly responsible for the frontend, you will closely collaborate with our backend developers on API design and shipping features.

You will work highly customer-focused and be given the time to learn in depth about software development tools, latest frontend technologies, and upcoming AWS services. You will be part of a SCRUM team that regularly delivers well-tested and reviewed releases and responds quickly to customers needs.

Our team is located in the center of Berlin.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A strong JavaScript background
· Working experience with a JS framework, e.g. AngularJS, React, Ember.js, or Backbone.js
· Development experience in large frontend projects
· You focus on clean, testable, maintainable, and high-performance code
· Curiosity, interest to learn
· Excellent communication skills
