Amazon is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer for the EC2 Automation Team. As part of the team, you will be given the chance to have a significant impact to improve our systems, our business and most importantly the services for our customers.

Position
We are in need of an experienced Software Development Engineer that can contribute to our test automation systems, someone who can help us make our system even more user friendly and robust. We are looking for someone that is able to write code in Python/Perl and thrives looking for elegant solutions to the challenging problem of testing EC2 platforms and automatic qualification approval.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
· 3+ years of industry experience as a Software Developer, SDET, or QA/Automation Engineer.
· 3+ years of experience in common scripting or programming language such as Python, Perl, Bash, C/C++, Java, with a solid Linux systems background.
· Experience in industry standard test automation tools and developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and as part of a cross-functional team with the ability to influence others.
