We are deriving new insights from customer behavior to improve our product experience. Our technology stack is powered by Java-based services, AWS services (such as Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon EMR).

We are looking for Software Development Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for telemetry technologies and digital entertainment. If you were to join today, you'd get an opportunity to:
· Expose and highlight new business insights to the Fire TV business team to help drive future product decisions;
· Learn and use Android (optional)
· Leverage a big data & analytics pipeline to gain insight into engagement measurement;
· Learn big data processing optimizations, overcome big data challenges;
· Help set the technical and product direction for the team.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 3+ years of industry experience in software development
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
· Programming experience in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python
