As a Sr. QAE, you are responsible for:
· Working with device partners (internal and external) from integration to launch
· Working with existing music providers (internal and external) to verify certification requirements on devices
· Working with and certifying new music providers as they onboard on the Alexa ecosystem
· Working with International teams as Alexa music expands across the globe
· Working with QA teams across Amazon to co-ordinate certification from feature development to launch.
· Creating certification test plans for new feature, devices, music providers, and countries
· Running tests on prototype devices to ensure they meet certification requirements prior to launch
· Working with multiple teams across varied job roles to explain certification failures, recommend bug fixes, and track them to completion.
· Contributing to automation frameworks to reduce the manual testing involved in certification
· Ensure the services the team is building to enable device partners and music providers to self-certify themselves are tested and released with a high quality bar.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
· 6+ years in Quality assurance or certification roles
· Experience with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C) and open-source technologies (Spring, Hibernate)
· Experience delivering large, cross-functional projects
· Experience working with external customers, clients, or partners
