Amazon's Contingent Workforce Program Team is seeking an experienced business leader with a background in vendor management, demonstrated negotiation and project management skills, excellent business judgment, and curiosity to drive improvements for program optimization. Within this role, the individual will establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, including contract negotiation, pricing optimization and strategy execution to drive efficiencies at scale. The role will work directly with the third-party vendors who support the procurement of contingent workers globally but must also be able to influence where ownership is decentralized. The role will be responsible for streamlining the process and program globally resulting in a positive experience for any Amazonian seeking to utilize contingent workers.
Sr. Program Managers at Amazon are given responsibility on their first day to own business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and creatively to make data driven decisions. You will be driving efforts with a significant impact across Amazon inclusive of both high level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver results. The right candidate for this role will have high judgement, experience managing projects and deadlines, communicating and influencing stakeholders, and delivering scalable processes and projects to drive adoption and satisfaction. The environment is very fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, biased for action, detail oriented, and comfortable tracking many threads of ongoing work across many teams.

The successful candidate will have superior attention to detail with an ability to see the minutia and the big picture, the ability to take in a large amount of information that is ambiguous and contradictory and provide a succinct and insightful analysis, possess strong project and program management skills, is able to prioritize in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience in contingent workforce programs is required. The successful candidates will have a passion for customer service that the world associates with and expects from Amazon. Additional projects in the area of Contingent Workforce Management may also be assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS degree business, HR, or related field
· 2+ years of program or project management experience
