Job description
DESCRIPTION
Amazon Go is a new kind of physical store with no lines and no checkout. You simply use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take what you want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go! Learn more at amazon.com/go.
Designed and custom-built by Amazonians, Amazon Go's checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the same types of technologies used in self-driving cars: computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning. Innovation is part of our DNA.
We are looking for an experienced product manager who is excited by the challenge of enabling the highest levels of user performance by building a highly versatile yet deceptively simple toolset. Partnering with operations, tech, and design you will work closely with a highly engaged and passionate team of users and stakeholders to build state-of-the-art tools for an emerging function supporting Amazon Go.
• Lead the development of the product vision, strategy and roadmap
• Create consensus for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Work closely with software engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to deliver features
• Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
• Actively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
• Strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership
• Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities
• Strong Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
