We are looking for an Instructional Designer to create and manage training curricula and drive readiness through currency and audit processes that support standard work. We are seeking bar-raising candidates who are able to:
· Create simple, scalable training/tracking processes
· Innovate learning content to keep team on the leading edge of safety and operational excellence
· Partner cross functionally with other stakeholders to drive a culture of professional aviation
· Support flight safety by drafting learning content in support of safety initiatives
· Provide reports to leaders of program health and training proficiency across the enterprise

The ideal candidate is highly organized, works effectively with internal and external contacts, has the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Moreover, the ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous areas is imperative. Operational knowledge of wide variety of legal and regulatory concepts, particularly within aviation, is essential to perform the role successfully. The candidate must also possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred
FAA Private Pilot license or FAA part 107 Remote Pilot in Command certification
Master's degree or Aviation degree
Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations
Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound professional judgment
Proven analytical capabilities; experience with large amounts of data and in developing audit reports, metrics, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years working in LMS or aviation-based training platforms
Bachelor's degree
Must be able to travel 25%, as necessary
MS Office proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
