Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services in the Media and Retail industry? We have an exciting opportunity as Junior Account Manager (m/f) in our Media and Retail business at Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be responsible for working alongside a Strategic Account Manager by identifying demand for the AWS services in both new and existing accounts. Your role will include proactively engaging with customers, opportunity discovery, pipeline maturation and closing.

Roles & Responsibilities
· Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction
· Achieve business growth and expansion in a defined territory
· Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically
· Identify new customers by prospecting and cold calling
· Develop potential opportunities on existing customer base
· Collaborate with Channel, Marketing, Business Development and other functions on key initiatives in assigned territory
· Present regular and accurate reports to management for review
· Take part in the creation of program improvements or new campaigns

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
· Self-motivated individual with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive and result oriented dealing with B2B customers
· Strong work ethic, analytical and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German
