DESCRIPTION
The Investigations Manager, EHS Investigations, will conduct objective, thorough and unbiased investigations, review, and analysis involving safety-related incidents, policies, and practices. This individual will pursue complex internal investigations to determine root cause and will be responsible for gathering, preserving, analyzing and presenting evidence to internal stakeholder/decision makers. The Investigations Manager, EHS Investigations, is expected to exercise a high level of initiative, judgment and discretion. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and will report to the Manager of Strategic Investigative Solutions, The Americas, Loss Prevention, GSO.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Develop and implement company-wide investigative program related to safety incidents, including review of relevant safety policies and practices
· Identify investigations by leveraging information from internal reporting, data analysis and HR-reported incidents
· Participate in interviews as part of investigative proceedings.
· Conduct research and review to analyze fact patterns while reporting on investigative findings
· Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders
· Provide investigation skills, training, and technical expertise to field locations and partners
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university plus 2-5 years of investigation experience or equivalent experience of 10 years
· Strong expertise in claim identification and handling
· Proficient with insurance procedures and investigative methods
· Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel
