The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar global business which significantly contributes to the company's profitability. The Consumer Gift Cards team is responsible for creating and enhancing multiple products sold globally through the Amazon website. Our product line includes electronic gift cards, physical gift cards, branded gift cards (e.g. Starbucks and Whole Foods) and Stored Value products which help customers manage and add funds to their existing Amazon GC balance. We are seeking a high-performing, innovative and analytical Operations Specialist for our team.The Gift Cards team mission is to drive the most desired gift, ever. We aim to create delightful gifts that are thoughtful for the recipient and convenient for the giver.

As a Sr. Supply Chain Manager you will be part of the Gift Cards supply chain team which is leading a high performing function in supply chain (forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, customer availability) helping drive innovation growth, facilitating strong partnerships externally with vendors and internally with peers and Amazon's global technical teams.
The best candidate will have a broad skill set including strong relationship management and negotiations skills, leadership development, analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for helping create a world class shopping experience for Amazon's gift cards customers. You must be willing to challenge the status quo in order to help improve existing workflows and processes to enhance customer experience. You will work with vendors of all sizes.

Your Responsibilities include:
Optimize product availability within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain
Work with vendor managers on expanding selection and optimum sourcing recommendations/decisions
Implement system/process improvements in working with vendors on order management, vendor operations, and inventory management.
Drive metrics to improve efficiency and assist with in-stock management, including inventory replenishment, managing overstock inventory, and operations processes
Manage large scale catalog selection, be solution-oriented & able to integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making
Manage multiple projects – prioritizing, planning and delegating appropriate tasks

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree

· 3+ years of experience in operations, retail, consulting and/or finance, with a history of owning/driving results
·
· Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
·
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
·
· Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
·
· Proficiency in Excel
·
· Proven analytical skills and highly numerate
